Happy Friday Everyone!

Whew! I’m back! Its been a looong week, but I got soo much accomplished! All of the baby shower invitations have been completed AND delivered and the wedding invites are about 2 hours away from being fully completed as well! It was a lot of work coming home from my full time job and sitting at my craft table for another 4-5 hours every night, but its worth it in the end!

For my card today, you are going to think I’ve gone completely nuts but I assure you I haven’t!! I came across the Christmas Stampin’ All Year Long blog and fell in love with their concept! Create a Christmas card every week for the year and then when Christmas time comes, we aren’t stressed into making our holidays and we can enjoy the season!!

Here is this weeks’ challenge:

I decided to use my Hannah stamp for this week’s challenge as I just got it recently and couldn’t wait til this Fall to ink it up and see how it looked! I decided to use Making Memories’ holiday ’08 line of patterned paper and buttons and combined them with Papertrey Inks’ Ripe Avocado ribbon..

The best part of this card (I think) is the Liquid Applique on the tree and on the ground for snow! I love this! Once it puffed out, I used my Star Dust Stickles for some added shimmer..

And here you have it, my first card entered in Christmas Stampin’ All Year Longs card challenge! I can’t wait to hear what you think about it!

Have a great Friday night everyone, I will be back tomorrow to catch up on some of my posting!!

Happy Crafting!

I do have two blog posts scheduled for this week but other than that I’m here, just really busy!!

Have a great week everyone!

Happy Saturday Everyone!

It is a cold, miserable Saturday here:(We woke up to snow!! It later turned to rain, but now the wind is blowing and let me tell you it does NOT feel like the first weekend of June! Needless to say, today is a perfect day for me to snuggle up and get crafty! I’m knee deep in baby shower and wedding invites, but I took a quick minute to make the baby boy version of this card, and here it is, as promised..

I have to make a few of each of these as they are being sent off to Damon Lane’s here in town around mid-month for re-sale! As soon as I made these, I knew they would be a favorite and so far, they haven’t disappointed!!

Tonight will be a movie/popcorn night in our household for sure! Whatever your plans are, I hope you have yourselves a great weekend! Take care everyone and I will be back on Monday!

Hey All!!

I absolutely love these weekly challenges of Dawn McVey’s! They force me to combine colours that I would never have thought of on my own and every week I get so excited to see what the next challenge is going to be! This week was no different! I used Raspberry Fizz, Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream and Kraft this week..

I used my Life stamp set from Papertrey Ink, as well as their Text Style Background Basics, which is becoming an absolute favorite of mine!!
I embellished the card with a chocolate flower and raspberry fizz vintage button and tied it up with twine for a girlie effect!

Here’s a peek of the inside of the card..

Cute and simple..just how I like it:)Have a great night everyone!!

Hey Guys!

Its officially halfway through the week!! WOO HOO!! I have so much work ahead of me in the next 2 weeks that I’m pretty much looking for any way to celebrate:)One of my projects will be these super cute baby shower invites that I am making for a girlfriends’ sister. She specified the colour scheme and teddy bears and this is what I came up with..

The cuter-than-a-button teddy bear image is from ATS’ Bear Hugs stamp set and the invitation stamp is part of Stampin Up’s ‘Introducing stamp’ set. I cut out a 4.5″ x 5/25″ base of spring moss, then cut my stampers select white cardstock a smidgen smaller to layer the background. From there I cut out a strip of Dark Chocolate and ran it through my Cuttlebug with my Swiss Dots folder. Then I ran the white and spring moss papers through with my circle nesties, stamped and coloured the image and DONE! It is a very easy, simple design that will make for quick replication (which is important when doing quite a few!)

Below is the complete finished project..pretty cute hey?

I’m off to the ball park tonight for the opening game! I’m going with the whole family and I hate to admit this, but I’m actually pretty excited:)I hope you all are enjoying a beautiful day, wherever you are!!
