Hey Everyone,

Today was such a busy day for me! Work went by so quickly due to us unpacking and trying to get our office organized that I couldn’t believe it when 4 came around already!! I’m not complaining though, of course, cause that would just be silly!! In fact, today I planned exactly where I will be putting the Christmas tree in about a month and the color scheme I wanted to buy new ornaments in! ( Yes, I work in Finance and all I cared about was the Christmas tree today.. how sad! Haha)

Speaking of Christmas, I have another great card today using My Minds Eye..

I just loved this card when it came together for me, I also used PTI’s Spring Moss and Spring Rain CS that blended perfectly with MME’s DP. I stamped “Here Comes Santa” on the blue tag on the top left hand corner, but it didn’t show up the greatest on camera:(

And now I’m off to make some more Christmas goodies.. have a great night everyone!!

Happy Crafting!

Hey Everyone!

I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, this past week has been crazy at my office with our move to the new building and now this weekend was mostly spent on setting up the office so that tomorrow is “business as usual”, or at least as much as possible! I have made a few Christmas cards though to add to my tradeshow stash so thankfully, I have lots to share! I also plan on making a few more Halloween additions in the next 2 weeks as well ( I tend to forget about Halloween the minute October comes!)
My card today though was something I had in my mind ever since PTI came out with their “Stocking Prints” stamp set last month, I just LOVE this set and can’t wait to use it more this coming holiday season. The DP is something old from my stash, but went perfectly with PTI’s Scarlet Jewel, Spring Moss and Ripe Avocado CS

The adorable sentiment is new from Michaels this year.. it was one of the first stamps they set out last month and I knew I wanted it..

I stamped out 3 stockings and cut them out individually and placed them on pop dots to make them stand out from the stockings on the DP..
And then for a final touch, I added white Fun Flock to the Scarlet Jewel stocking and then used a silver paint pen to add some sparkle to the dark green.. I love how it ended up!
Well, thats it for me! I’m off to enjoy the rest of my weekend..take care everyone!

Its cold and dreary here today and I’m so thankful I have another bright and cheery Holiday card for you! This is another My Minds Eye creation, mixed with a PTI sentiment and Marvy punch for the snowflakes..super duper easy!

To jazz up the snowflakes, I ran over it with my Star Dust Stickles and it just made the whole thing *POP*, I love the effect it made on the snowflakes!!

Here’s just a little bit of a close up of the snowflakes:)

Thats it for me tonight.. I’ve been busy packing boxes all day in the office for our move this weekend and I’m BEAT!! Have a great night everyone!

Its Thanksgiving today here in Canada and I’m so thankful for that extra day to sleep in a little and enjoy life:)We had a huge turkey dinner last night with most of my mother’s side of the family and I was just so impressed with myself for not over-eating as per usual, although its true we’ll be eating for weeks with the leftovers we were given!!

But, now that Thanksgiving dinner is done.. its back to Christmas cards for me! I’ve been invited to do a Christmas tradeshow on November 14th (my first ever so I’m extremely nervous!!) and I’m working hard at making as many Holiday cards as possible!! I picked up a pkg of My Minds Eye’s Colorful Christmas at my LSS for this show, and its funny because I am a very traditional person, so normally I hate bright colors for Christmas..but once I saw these go together, I LOVED them!
I cut out my card and layered it with a few different pieces of pp from the pkg and then decided to cut out a few circles from my Spellbinders dies and stamped the tree image from PTI’s 2008 Holiday Tags in Raspberry Fizz ink, which goes perfectly with these papers!

To finish the card off, I tied off some Raspberry Fizz Luxe Satin ribbon with a Raspberry Fizz button.. its just soo cute!! This card is part of a box set that will be going for sale at the tradeshow, so I will show you the rest of the cards throughout the week!! Have a great holiday Monday everyone (Happy Columbus Day down South from us!!)
Take Care and Happy Crafting!

Happy Sunday!!

We got a lot of snow yesterday (not really anything that stuck around) but boy did it feel like Christmas here! I got started on more Christmas cards yesterday and plan to continue working on them today as well. Just wanted to share a very simple, rustic Christmas card with you this morning from Papertrey Ink products..
I used Kraft and Ripe Avocado CS as well as Pure Poppy Luxe Satin ribbon for the card and brought out my Boards and Beams stamp set and Home for The Holidays stamp set, all from Papertrey Ink.
First, I stamped my house directly on to the Kraft CS, coloured it in with my Copic markers and then stamped over the eavestroughs and windows with the holiday images from Home for The Holidays. To finish off the look I stamped a little snowman in the front yard and filled both him and the snow on the house with Icicle Stickles.

The sentiment finished off the card..and its one of my favorite holiday sentiments ever! And thats it! A simple, easy to make holiday card that is great for mass producing in the busy months ahead..

Have a great Sunday everyone, happy crafting!
