I really want to have a Fall wedding next year, complete with pumpkins, raffia and a little red wagon but..if I were to have a Spring wedding? It would totally take after this ridiculously sweet one.. (click on photo’s to enlarge)

Isn’t this the sweetest wedding ever? I love how shabby, homemade and cute it is! There are details everywhere you look and its just beautiful! Ahh, if only I had a million dollars
So I’m on a roll now with my Halloween cards and I seriously think this is my favorite card to date! Although, the witch one yesterday was pretty darn cute too!! It doesn’t feel like Fall is around the corner..especially when we’re being assaulted with 33 degrees (celsius) of heat and not a breeze in sight! BUT, Halloween is only 2 months away and its never to early to start planning away!
My card today was also made with Martha Stewart, Jenni Bowlin and Making Memories products and, of course, another decorated piece of wood from Michaels!! Today my project is a spooky, shabby pumpkin..

Okay, are you loving this like I am? There is just so much to take in and love..

At first I thought the card would be too busy, but then once it was made.. I couldn’t see anything that was clashing or taking the spotlight..it just..WORKS!! haha

And I decided to paint and glitter my pumpkin white, which is a little unusual I guess but it just made sense with the other elements of the card..and to finish it off I rubbed some PTI tea dye’s on the edges to give it a distressed look and match the rest of the card.. what do you think?

I’m off to make more cards! Have a great night
I cannot believe its Sept. 1st already!! Summer is winding down, and I am getting into full Fall swing here. Halloween and Christmas products are on the forefront of my mind and all I want to do is create!! I think I’ve currently bought Michaels out of all their new products ( I have so many cards to show you!) and my card today is a fun, shabby little witch that just makes me smile..
I used Martha Stewarts pp, PTI Kraft and a few tags from Making Memories’ 2008 Halloween line to create this little cutie..
And I found more wooden cutouts at Michaels to paint and glitter up, which is where this fun witch comes from!
I have been covered in paint and glitter lately..there is just no getting away from it!! I even took the vacuum hose out last night to clean up my desk and I’m STILL finding glitter everywhere! Its okay though, I really don’t mind at all!
So, thats my card for today! Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone

Hey Everyone!
I’ll be back later with my regular post, but this caught my eye and I wanted to spread the word! As my dad is a very recent cancer survivor, I teared up while reading Jennifer McGuires post and I knew that I wanted to make a sweet card for this beautiful little girl. It’s Day 2 of my tries at shabby-chic..and I cannot tell you how much fun I am having! Everything just comes together and my face is literally covered in glitter from painting and glittering all these fun little pieces I recently found at Michaels! I’ve made some gorgeous holiday cards (those will come at a later time) and I also have a few beautiful Halloween cards..one of which I’m happy to share with you today!
This card is made completely out of Martha Stewart’s Halloween 2009 Holiday Papers and the sentiment is from PTI’s 2009 Halloween Tag Treats..
Ok..how cute is this?? I think I’m going to love this look for my future cards..it kind of feels like I’ve come home
Have you tried black glitter yet in your projects? Do it.. I promise you will love it! The look is just something else!
And since I’m on the topic of Halloween.. I thought I’d show you one of the amazing finds I made today at Winners while looking for a new purse (totally unrelated venture, I know).. but for $9 I consider it a steal!
I should confess now that we are entering upon my favorite time of year..in my opinion, the two best holidays are Halloween and Christmas and I kind of go nuts for both I go with a witch theme for Halloween, so when I see anything like this..I barely hesitate to put it in my cart! These holidays bring out the shopaholic in me *gulp* .. but its just too much fun to put down!!
I can’t wait to share more of my latest creations with you. I’ve sat down and gone through most of my products (there is a lot!) and pulled out anything vintage/eclectic and shabby and I’m going to work my way through them, one card at a time.. I hope you like what I’m creating…I’d love to hear your feedback so leave a comment below and enjoy the rest of your beautiful weekend
Happy Crafting!
